Retail Security
Working within a team or independently, our retail security officers and plain clothed officers receive additional training before being deployed in this role. Recognising theft patterns, repeat offenders or suspects who require closer scrutiny comes from experience and and the benefit of excellent training. Being able to thoroughly investigate retail crime is a skill in itself, having the knowledge to properly construct and write detailed reports another essential skill, both elements missing from the mandatory training offered to SIA manned guards.
We recognised those gaps in knowledge and before deploying our staff, we ensure they receive guided learning and a knowledge check before working on clients premises. They will have received ACT, SCAN and Behaviour Profiling training to identify individuals who are acting suspiciously or suspected of committing crime within your store and engage them in a professional and courteous manner.
Detailed reports provided to you will prove invaluable while building an intelligence picture of the vulnerabilities in your business and what proactive measures can be introduced to reduce them.
